So how did this local boy from Arima end up living in Costa Rica? Let’s get this out of the way so we can move on to the good stuff. So a long time ago in Bethlehem, I used to play football. I played college ball for a small Division I school in the US and after graduation, I decided to try my luck in la Primera Division in Costa Rica back in 2012. Long story short, injuries and my curiosity for language learning took me down an unexpected path. Fast forward 10 years and I’m still in Costa Rica but now as a language teacher, football coach, and trip coordinator. The story is a lot longer but too much for the first post. I’ll fill in the blanks during later blog posts about my adventures.
